Return & Refund Policy
At Scottsdale Car Care & Speed Shop, we value your satisfaction and aim to provide high-quality automotive products and services. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, the following terms explain our return and refund process.
1. Eligibility for returns
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.
- Products showing signs of installation, wear, or damage not caused by us are not eligible for return.
2. Non-returnable items
- Special-order or custom-made parts
- Electrical components once opened or installed
- Services or labor already performed
- Clearance or final-sale items
3. Return process
- Contact us. Email info@scottsdalespeed.com with your order number and reason for the return.
- Receive approval. We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
- Ship the item. Send eligible item(s) to the return address provided in our instructions.
- Inspection. Returned items will be inspected before a refund is issued.
4. Refunds
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within five business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return results from our error or a defective product.
5. Return shipping costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the product arrived defective or damaged, or we shipped the wrong item.
6. Damaged or defective items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within seven days of delivery. We will arrange an eligible replacement or refund at no cost to you.

General Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk

It addresses legal rights, vehicle-operation risks, testing and tuning, releases of claims, and indemnification.
The undersigned customer (“Customer”) acknowledges, understands, and agrees to the following terms:
In consideration for any and all services performed or to be performed by Scottsdale Car Care & Speed Shop, its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, contractors, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), the Customer hereby waives, releases, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or liabilities of any kind or nature, whether known or unknown, arising out of, relating to, or in connection with any service, repair, test, operation, or handling of the Customer’s vehicle by the Released Parties.
The Customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that the operation, testing, or tuning of any motor vehicle—including use of a Mustang chassis dynamometer—carries inherent risks, including mechanical failure, property damage, bodily injury, or death. The Customer voluntarily assumes all such risks and accepts full responsibility for any resulting loss or damage to their vehicle or person, regardless of fault. The Customer further acknowledges that no warranties, express or implied, are provided, and that vehicle performance modifications or repairs may affect safety, emissions compliance, and component longevity.
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all third-party claims, liabilities, or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to the Customer’s vehicle, authorization of work, or participation in testing or tuning.
This Release constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes prior representations or understandings. It may not be modified except in a written instrument signed by both parties. This Release shall be binding upon the Customer and their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona.
By approving labor, signing a work order, or authorizing any service to commence, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, fully understood, and voluntarily agreed to this General Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk.
